The archetypal images of the Tarot originate from the keepers of the ancient mystery schools. Many of these symbolic images appear independently through the ages.
Together, they describe the path of the soul through mind, body, and spirit. The most difficult and intense of these is the Mind, which sets the foundation of the two that follow. The work of the Mind should be the starting point and main focus.
This is the tertiary and septenary structure of the archetypal mind. The study of this is the necessary foundation for self-knowledge and real magical practice.
